Our society holds two gourd education days (GED) and one show each year to educate the public about the growing and uses of gourds.  The GED's feature educational and historical information, workshops and demonstrations, make 'n takes, tutorial handouts and vendors selling supplies and raw gourds. 

Our show features gourd competition, workshops and demonstrations, educational and historical displays and handouts, make 'n takes, vendors selling raw gourds, apparel, supplies, artwork and crafts.
