Subject: GGS Excuetive Board Electronic Meeting Minutes

3/8/12-Reggie Eakin reported that Catherine Watkins withdrew her offer to serve as webmaster.

3/14/12-Sandra McGurn e-mailed amended 2012 GGS budget and 2012 projected show budget to BOD. She announced winners of the show theme contest to be Nancy Peterson & Judy Besier. She announced the site and dates for the 2012 show.

3/16/12- Troy Tatum e-mailed questions related to the announced show budget, and the announced show name.

3/19/12- Nancy Peterson called for quorem for the show budget and name, and suggested cancelling the 2012 show.

3/20/12-Sandra McGurn e-mailed that she had only received 11 votes from the general membership on the requested budget vote.

3/22/12- Sandra McGurn suggested a conference call to discuss the show with the BOD.

3/22/12- Troy Tatum informed membership of his resignation from the 2012 show chairman position.  

3/22/12- Sandra McGurn e-mailed that there were 12 yes votes for budget approval.

3/22/12- Sandra Hutchins e-mailed agreement with paring down show size, and reduction of previously discussed show admission price.

3/22/12- Ellen Tatum e-mailed questions related to postponing the 2012 show, reconsidering the size of the show, and voted no on the proposed budget.

3/29/12- Sandra McGurn e-mailed that the mandatory conference call would be on Sunday, April 1st at 20:00. She attached an amended general budget and amended show budget.

4/1/12 The Executive Board members in participating in the conference call on 4/1/12 were: Sandy McGurn, Ellen Tatum, Nancy Peterson, Sandra Hutchins, C.L. Arnsdoff, Anne Touchton, Troy Tatum, Jan Cash, Jane Ballou, Cathy Glover, Tina Norford, and Kathy James. Matters discussed were the proposed show and the approved budget. Sandy McGurn called for a vote: 9 votes, no, one vote, yes, and one abstained.
Sandra McGurn e-mailed the membership that the 2012 Farmer's Market show had been cancelled by a majority BOD vote.

4/4/12- Cathy Glover and Nancy Peterson e-mailed agreement with cancelling the Atlanta show, and called for planning alternative GEDs and smaller shows.

4/4/12- Sandra McGurn e-mailed resignation of the office of President of GGS.

4/7/12- Ellen Tatum announced moving from the Vice President position to the President of GGS.

4/15/12- Ellen Tatum e-mailed that she had asked Charlotte Durrance to accept the Vice President position.

4/15/12- Nancy Peterson nominated Charlotte Durrence for VP, Jan Cash seconded.

4/17/12- Ellen Tatum announced 9 out of 10 BOD replies elected Charlotte Durrence for Vice President of GGS.

4/19/12- Troy Tatum e-mailed that he had located a more conservative location for a 2012 GGS show in Griffin.

4/23/12-Ellen Tatum e-mailed: Motion by Cathy Glover and seconded by Sandra Hutchins for the location of the Kiwanis Building in Griffin, Georgia on October 20th, and 21st for the 2012 GGS show. She called for BOD votes on the show date, location, and acceptance of previous discussions by e-mail as to space and the understanding that there will be other items discussed at a later date.
